ASHANTI REGIONAL MINISTER OUTLINES THE PROGRAMS AHEAD OF THE 63RD INDEPENDENCE DAY

The Ashanti regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah yesterday met the press to outline the programs they have organized ahead of the 63 rd Independence Day which will be held in Kumasi. According to him, there will be a ceremony to mark the victims of the Christiansburg cross road shooting in Accra on the 28 th February, 2020 whiles Muslims will also pray for Ghana across the country. He added that, on the 29 th February, 2020, there will be Health and Fitness walk across the country and also embarked on a cleanup exercise in some major parts of the Ashanti region especially Juaso, Konogo, and Ejisu to Kumasi. He noted that, Christians will pray and thanks giving service across the country on the 1 st of March 2020. KWADASO MUNICIPAL HOSPITALS PERFORMED BETTER IN 2019- HEALTH DIRECTORATE REVEALS

The Kwadaso Municipal Health Directorate has today reviewed their annual performance in the year 2019.   Speaking at the occasion at Hope Xchange hospital in Santasi, the Kwadaso Municipal Health Directorate, Madam Grace Billy disclosed that, the hospitals within the Municipal have done a lot of work especially the maternal health related issues. According to her, they have taken care of pregnant women, PMTC services which also help prevent children from getting HIV virus from their mothers. In an exclusive interview with Silver fm reporter, Nana Frimpong, she noted that, their indicators shown that, some of their performances were good whiles others were not that bad.   She revealed that, the hospitals will do collaboration with the Assembly to improve their work this year. She again advised all resident within Kwadaso Municipal especially pregnant women to visit the hospital on time before it’s too late.

MP CUTS SOD FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ROADS AND PARTY OFFICE

The Member of Parliament for Ahafo Ano South- West constituency, Hon. Johnson Kwaku Adu has cut the sod for the construction of some major roads within the constituency and also the construction of their Party Office. According to him, the government able to construct about 19.6 kilometers road in the constituency. He added that, the road that link Kunsu through Sikafremogya to Kramokrom and Abaasua will soon be constructed.  He again revealed that, the 20 kilometer road that link Mpasaaso to Asuokor will be awarded on 13 th March. He noted that, since the establishment of the NPP Party in 1992, the constituency does have their not own office hence the decision to build one. The Residents Engineer of the Julac Company limited Engineer Sarfo Isaac disclosed that, they will make sure to complete the road within the shortest possible time.
