GNAPS TO PARTNER MTTD TO ARREST WRECKED SCHOOL BUSES

Eric Appiah, immediate past President for Ghana National Association of Private Schools (GNAPS), has indicated that the association would soon be partnering with Drivers and Vehicles License Authority (DVLA) and Motor Transport and Traffic Directorate (MTTD) to arrest all unfit school buses on our roads.

Speaking in an interview with Africanewsgh, he said workshop would be organized by with the private school owners and MTTD to educate them on how best to regularize their busses for the safety of the school kids.

He said overloading and wrecked buses would be arrested if they refuse to heed to the directives that would be discussed at the workshop.

He made this revelation in reaction to the demise of Aisha Abdul Aziz, a 4 year old girl who was killed by her school bus in freak accident yesterday at Sawaba, a suburb in Kumasi.
