NO ROADS, NO VOTE- BONTEFUFUO RESIDENTS TO GOVT


Concern Citizens of Bontefufuo in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti region are pleading to their MP, Hon. Joseph Quarm aka, Prof Quarm, Minister for Roads and Highway, Hon.
Kwasi Amoako Atta and other stake holders to as a matter of urgency construct their deplorable roads within the district.
 
The residents clad in red and black attire threatened not to vote in the upcoming 2020 general elections if the government fails to construct their roads.

Speaking to the media at the occasion held at Ahwerewa, the Assembly member for Ahwerewa, Hon. Dickson Kusi disclosed that, the communities lack developmental projects due to the current state of the road hence the need for government.

He added that, drivers find it very difficult to ply the road making it difficult for residents within the district.

“We are not ready to vote if the government fails to construct our roads for us”, he said.


The Chief of Ahwerewa who was the chairman of the program, Nana Osei Kuffour Akonor II also appealed to the government to construct their roads because President Akuffo disclosed that, this year is for construction of roads.
