COVID-19: 144 PEOPLE ARRESTED IN KUMASI FOR BREAKING LOCKDOWN RULE- REG. MINISTER


The Ashanti regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah has revealed that, 144 people have been arrested in Kumasi for defiling the lockdown rules.

According to him, about 25 people including pastors and others who made false statement against the President was sent to court.

He added that, all the efforts by the government is to help curb the spread of the coronavirus.

He noted that, there are recalcitrant people in the region who must be taught a lesson.

He again warned all residents to stay home.
