MAHAMA DOESN’T MAKE ANY RECKLESS PROMISES- SAMMY GYAMFI

Communication Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has stated that, the NDC is going to fulfill all their promises they have to Ghanaians when they come back to power.

According to him, they will show how they will pay within one year, the locked-up funds of all customers of the collapsed financial firms in the banking sector cleanup undertaken by the NPP government.

He added that, there is a lot of money in the country looking at the money they are spending on different kinds of things.

He noted that, Mahama is not a person who makes reckless promises that President Akuffo Addo made during the 2016 general elections.

He disclosed that, persons suffering from diabetics, hypertension, malaria, typhoid and all manner of disease will enjoy health care for free without any casualties.

He revealed that, former President John Mahama has promised Ghanaians that his next administration, should he win the 7 December 2020 polls, will create one million jobs which will put monies in the pockets of Ghanaians.

NDC YOUTH VANDALIZED PARTY OFFICE

  Irate youth of the National Democratic Congress in the Suame Constituency have vandalized the office of the National Democratic Congress at Suame. Leader angry youth, Mohammed Naail speaking to Silver fm reporter, Akwadaa Nyame, the executives  within the party has failed to meet up to their expectation. According to him, the constituency Chairman does not vote at the Suame Constituency hence he can’t become the Chairman of the party per their rules. He added that, there is an injunction on Shaba by the court that prevents him from entering the party’s office. He noted that, they felt disappointed towards the Ashanti regional Chairman on the NDC for giving a clearance letter to Shaba to become the Chairman of the constituency without informing anybody. He disclosed that, they vandalized the office to express their dissatisfaction towards the leaders of the party. GHANA RISK OF FOOD DROUGHT IF DESERTIFICATION PERSISTS-WETLAND MANAGER WARNS

Dickson Agyemang, Operations manager for Wetland under the Forestry Commission has revealed that consistent desertification of lands and building in water ways may lead the country into food crisis in the coming years. Ghana is losing more than 20 percent forest reserve every year due to desertification such as mining activities, felling down of trees and the likes, he revealed when speaking on Omanbapa show with Nana Ampratwum. He added that Ghana is in a risk of food crisis and extreme poverty if we continue the activities that destroy farmlands and forest reserves. Mr. Agyemang therefore encouraged Ghanaians to report people who build in water areas for legal action to be taken against them.
