SOME OF OUR WORKERS HAVE RECOVERED-FDA

The Director of Communication of the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), James Lartey has revealed that, some of their workers who tested positive for covid-19 have fully recovered.

Speaking to Nana Ampratwum on Omanbapa Morning show on Silver fm monitored by Africanewsgh.blogspot said, over 150 staffs were testing out of which 39 tested positive.

According to him, they provided the needed materials across their various offices to help prevent staffs from contracting the virus.

Thirty-nine (39) staff of the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) have reportedly tested positive for Coronavirus out of staff strength of 450.

This was captured in a statement issued by the Authority.

According to the FDA, the staff who tested positive has been asked to self-isolate.

FDA says despite this new development, it shall continue to render its services to the public.

He again revealed that, they have signed an agreement with the National Board for Small Scale Industry to bring all traders on board to ascertain the exact products they bring outside for human consumption.

To the Editor, Why I didn’t show up for the morning news production on Monday On that fateful day (Monday, April 4 th 2022) I was preparing to come and produce the morning news despite the heavy rainfall and lack of electricity in my area. I was ready to come around 4:30am when my father ordered me to wait due to crime rate in my area and especially such an ungodly hour. From where l stay, I have to board a taxi to the main road before getting a car to work but unfortunately, there was no car at the time I arrived there around 5:10am because of the rain and lack of electricity.
