BANDA CLASH- THE SOLDIERS DID THE RIGHT THING-JOHN BOADU

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu has defended the actions by the Soldiers.

According to him, majority of these people especially those at the river banks are Togolese.

He added that, nobody can prevent anyone from registering except unqualified people.

He noted that, the National Democratic Congress are only good at fighting the government over little issues.

He made this comment after, the General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah clashed with military personnel stationed at Banda in the Bono Region over the soldiers’ refusal to allow some residents to register in the ongoing voters’ registration exercise.

In a video the NDC Scribe is seen angrily exchanging words with the soldiers who had blocked the road to stop busloads of people from accessing registration centres.
