FREE HOT MEAL; STUDENTS FORCED TO PAY 5CEDIS FOR FOOD

 

Information reaching Silver fm indicates that some of the school authorities are extorting monies from the students before giving them their share of the “free hot meal”.

A concern resident, Teacher Alex speaking to Nana Ampratwum on Silver fm Omanbapa morning show said, a private school at Kaase charges students Five Ghana cedis before serving them the free hot meal.

According to him, the school has failed to adhere to President Akuffo Addo’s directive that, the “Free hot meal” is free and must be distributed to all schools both private and public schools.

o Silver FM’s Nana Frimpong in a telephone interview on condition of anonymity.

According to her, a teacher i

n the school told her they are private school therefore nothing prevents them from collecting monies from students.

He said, “Nobody can stop us from col

lecting money from children. When you go to roman, you do what romans do or……..”.
