We will vote against NPP if we are abandon-Central Market traders
Traders at the Kumasi Central Market have threatened to vote against the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2024 general elections if they are not given a better place to ply their things.
Some of them speaking to Silver fm's reporter, Akwadaa Nyame lamented that, they had been evicted from their place without giving them any
place to sell their goods.
According to them, their blood pressure had risen up due to the situation they are facing.
One trader added that, she has paid an amount of ghc5000 to the authorities but they have failed to give her a store to ply her trade for one year now.

Reacting to this, the Personnel Aid to the Mayor, Mr. George Amponsah speaking to Nana Ampratwum on Silver fm Omanbapa morning show said, lack of misinformation has caused this havoc.
According to him, the timeline for the construction of the Central Market is almost due hence the decision to fastrack everything.
He added that, some of the traders refused to ply their trade inside Kejetia terminal after giving them their store.
He pleaded with the traders to have a little patients with the authorities as they are finding a better place for them.

Wrecked buses has become our main concern-GNACOPS
The Executive Director of Ghana Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS), Mr Enoch Kwasi Gyetuah has revealed that, their main concern in the country is the wrecked school buses use to transport students to the schools.
Speaking to Nana Ampratwum on Silver fm Omanbapa morning show said, there are some private schools in the country who need support from the government to enable them purchase a safe and best buses.
According to him, there about are about 70% fees payning schools with these wrecked buses.
He added that, they had written a letter to other countries to supply them with buses which has yielded results.
He noted that, a car company called Perfect Motors based in Saudi Arabia has promised to donated them about 400 buses to support the schools but they need enough funds to retrieve the buses at the Tema Habor.
