Partey consoles Granit Xhaka

Ghana star, Thomas Partey has consoled his Arsenal teammate Granit Xhaka on Sunday after the Swiss made a mistake during the team’s draw against Burnley.


Both Partey and Xhaka were handed starting roles by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta when the Londoners played as a guest to Burnley at Turf Moor sports stadium.

While the visitors looked to be in control, a Granit Xhaka attempted pass in his area deflected off Burnley striker Chris Wood and into the net to draw level for the home team.
Gutted at the end of the game that ended 1-1, the Swiss posted a sad picture on Instagram to apologize to Arsenal fans.

Showing support for his Arsenal teammate, Thomas Partey commented “it's part of the game bro. We keeping working harder.”

Arsenal is currently on the 10th position on the league table with 38 points.

To the Editor, Why I didn’t show up for the morning news production on Monday On that fateful day (Monday, April 4 th 2022) I was preparing to come and produce the morning news despite the heavy rainfall and lack of electricity in my area. I was ready to come around 4:30am when my father ordered me to wait due to crime rate in my area and especially such an ungodly hour. From where l stay, I have to board a taxi to the main road before getting a car to work but unfortunately, there was no car at the time I arrived there around 5:10am because of the rain and lack of electricity.   Have confidence; I’m determined to fix economy despite downgrade – Nana Addo President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is confident Ghana’s economy will bounce back despite the recent downgrade by international rating agency, Standard & Poor’s (S&P). S&P last week downgraded Ghana’s foreign and local credit ratings from B-B’ to CCC+C with a negative economic outlook.
