LGTBQ+: Only the brave can voice the truth- Mr. Nartey commends Speaker of Parliament

President of the Judicial Service Association of Ghana, Mr. Alex Nartey has commended the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin for standing against the legalization of LGBTQ+ in the country.

Speaking to Nana Ampratwum on Silver fm Omanbapa morning show said, it takes only the brave ones like the Speaker of Parliament to voice out the truth against this LGBTQ+.

Ghana’s speaker of parliament enraged LGBTQ rights activists when he said the “LGBT+” pandemic is “worse than COVID-19.”

The speaker, Alban Bagbin, made the comments during a session where politicians filed a bill that would make the “promotion, advocacy, funding, and act of homosexuality in all forms” illegal, according to 76crimes.

Mr. Nartey again commended the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Hon. Sam George for also standing bravely against the legalization of the LGBTQ+.

According to him, it is high time we believe in ourselves rather than taking the Europeans as our role models.

He lamented that, the rate at which some people with the same gender wants to have sexual intercourse.

He urged everyone to stand up and fight against this LGBTQ+ in the country.

Speaking on the Omanbapa morning show, he said the 6th year medical students would spend 3 weeks on campus for exams before they end the semester and the 5th year also follow suit afterwards due to social distancing. To the Editor, Why I didn’t show up for the morning news production on Monday On that fateful day (Monday, April 4 th 2022) I was preparing to come and produce the morning news despite the heavy rainfall and lack of electricity in my area. I was ready to come around 4:30am when my father ordered me to wait due to crime rate in my area and especially such an ungodly hour. From where l stay, I have to board a taxi to the main road before getting a car to work but unfortunately, there was no car at the time I arrived there around 5:10am because of the rain and lack of electricity.   Have confidence; I’m determined to fix economy despite downgrade – Nana Addo President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is confident Ghana’s economy will bounce back despite the recent downgrade by international rating agency, Standard & Poor’s (S&P).
