Anti-LGBTQI+ Bill: Do you have sense- Foh- Amoaning fires LGBTQI+ activist

 

Executive Secretary of the National Coalition for Proper Human Sexual Rights and Family Values, Moses Foh-Amoaning has fired members of the LGBTQI+.

According to him, how can a normal male person have sex with his fellow man.

He added that, even scientist has proved that, the habit of having sex with your fellow man is not good and it’s not even sensible.

Speaking in an angry tone, he jabbed the US Ambassador to Ghana, H E Stephanie S. Sullivan for hoisting LGBTQI+ flag in support and solidarity to the activist.

The United States Embassy in Accra has shown its support and solidarity for the LGBTQI+ community in Ghana who have come under criticism from various quarters by flying a pride (rainbow) flag at its premises.

The Pride flag was hoisted for more than 24 hours to mark Pride Month as part of activities and events to mark the past and the present struggle for human rights, dignity and recognition of the LGBTQI+ community across the world and in Ghana.

Moses Foh- Amoaning said, “These people think we are stupid and doesn’t know what he wants for this country (Ghana)”.

The ‘Proper Human Sexual and Ghanaian Family Values Bill’ 2021 has been finally laid in parliament.

The second deputy speaker Andrews Amoako who was presiding referred the bill to the Constitutional, Legal, and Parliamentary Affairs Committee of Parliament.

The Bill is a private members’ legislation sponsored by eight Members of Parliament – seven from the NDC and one from the NPP.

The bill mostly titled the anti-LGBTQ bill, proscribes people of the same sex to engage in sexual activity. People engaged in the act could be fined or jailed for between three to five years.

The bill also has strong support among Ghanaians.
