#FixTheCountry demonstration: No party colors allowed at the grounds- PRO
Public Relations Officer for the demonstrators, Anthony Morkeh speaking to the media said, under no circumstance should anyone bring any political party colors to the grounds.
According to him, they are not been motivated by any Political party hence the need for anyone to abstain from bringing any political party colors to the grounds.
The Acting Inspector General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare, has thrown his weight behind the conveners of the #FixTheCountry demonstration and assured them of providing them with maximum security.
The meeting, which was called by Mr. Akuffo Dampare, was, according to him, to “assure the protesters of maximum protection from the start to the end of the August 4 #FixTheCountry protest.”
Anthony Morkeh added that, the protest will begin at the Obra Spot at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle Interchange through the Frisco Traffic Light towards the TUC-Kinbu Senior High School road and ends at Black Star Square.
He again added that, they will be clad in red and black cloth whiles others will be given free #fixthecountry T- shirt and promised to observe the safety protocols to help curtail the spread of the virus.
