The minister of education and the Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe Constituency Ashanti Region Hon Dr Yaw Adutwum has commended and congratulates the SHS headmasters in Ghana for their dedication and hard work exhibited in the development of Ghana.

 He said they met to solicit for ideas to advance the course of secondary educations in Ghana.

According to him, the determination of some headmaster will be enhanced the free senior high school to succeed, the effectiveness of Free SHS and the education is advanced.

He said it when he met the headmaster and the education directors in the Northern sector in Kumasi.

He said the ministry will do it best to provide food on time, provide infrastructure to eliminate the double track system and complete the uncomplicated infrastructure in the various schools

He confirmed that, double track system will be soon be a thing of the past.

However, some of the headmasters expressed delightful and importance of this meeting, they promised that they'll work hard to sustain the free SHS.

Deputy registrar for Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Dr. Bekoe has told Nana Ampratwum that only final year students would be studying on campus whilst others continue studying online. Speaking on the Omanbapa morning show, he said the 6th year medical students would spend 3 weeks on campus for exams before they end the semester and the 5th year also follow suit afterwards due to social distancing. This follows the easing of Covid-19 restrictions to enable educational institutions to re-open for final year students on June 15. To the Editor, Why I didn’t show up for the morning news production on Monday On that fateful day (Monday, April 4 th 2022) I was preparing to come and produce the morning news despite the heavy rainfall and lack of electricity in my area. I was ready to come around 4:30am when my father ordered me to wait due to crime rate in my area and especially such an ungodly hour. From where l stay, I have to board a taxi to the main road before getting a car to work but unfortunately, there was no car at the time I arrived there around 5:10am because of the rain and lack of electricity. I had no other option than to wait because I might be attacked if I decided to walk to the main road that’s why I couldn’t get here on time to produce to morning news.   Have confidence; I’m determined to fix economy despite downgrade – Nana Addo President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is confident Ghana’s economy will bounce back despite the recent downgrade by international rating agency, Standard & Poor’s (S&P). S&P last week downgraded Ghana’s foreign and local credit ratings from B-B’ to CCC+C with a negative economic outlook. According to S&P, the downgrade was due to intensifying financing and external pressures on the economy.
