While in the car, the victim claimed Ebo offered her an already opened soft drink and after taking the drink, she felt sleepy and she got to know after she woke up from a hotel room naked.
According to her, she asked him why he did that and all he could say was that he had gotten what he wanted and he will deny ever having anything to do with me if I report to anyone.
The traumatized lady could not fathom why the suspect will sleep with her when she was menstruating.

In support, her husband, Kwesi Ayitey, said they immediately reported the matter to police at Bawjiase.
However, he claimed some elders and the police in the town want to settle the issue out of court.

Dumsor will never return - Energy Ministry assures Ghanaians
The Ministry of Energy has allayed the fears of Ghanaians on a possible return of dumsor.
According to the Head of Communications at the Ministry, Mr. Rodney Nkrumah Boateng, Ghanaians should discard any suggestion that the country will return power outages.
Speaking to the media, he said, the main causes of dumsor under the erstwhile government was poor hydrology due to over-drafting of hydro dams, inadequate fuel supply to thermal plants and financial challenges have been addressed by the current administration.
He added that, Ghana’s total installed capacity to 5,358.50MW, against the backdrop of current peak demand of 3,469MW which was recorded on March 18, 2022.
He cited ongoing projects such as Early Power in Tema and Pwalugu Hydro and Solar Hybrid Plant in the Upper East Region as going to add to the generated capacities.
He noted that, the Ministry therefore rejects the assertion by the former Power Minister that there is a risk of returning to ‘dumsor’ by virtue of the state of generational capacity.”
A former Minister of Power, Dr Kwabena Donkor, said that Ghana is likely to return to the period of erratic power supply, popularly known as dumsor, if efforts are not made by the government to add to the generation capacity within two years.

Ghana is directly affected by the Russia-Ukraine war – Bawumia
The Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has said Ghana is directly affected by the ongoing geopolitical tension between Russia and Ukraine.
He stated while addressing TESCON members on Thursday April 7 that Russia accounts for some 30 per cent of Ghana’s imported grains , 50 per cent of flour and 39 per cent of fertilizer.
The warfare therefore affected the local economy, he said.
“The increase in commodity prices has been exacerbated by the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Russia and Ukraine together account for 30 per cent of the global wheat export. The longer the conflict the greater will be the disruptions to global food supply. The country is also likely to slow global growth.
“According to the AfDB the price of wheat has shot up by 62 per cent since the war begun. The price of fertilizer is up by 300 per cent, the price of maize is up by 36 per cent since the war begin . Here in Ghana 60 per cent of our total imports of iron ore and steel are from Ukraine.
“Russia accounts for some 30 per cent of Ghana’s imported grains, 50 per cent of flour and 39 per cent of fertilizer. So we are directly affected by the Russia-Ukraine ware. Unfortunately, we do not know when it will be over. The global increase in fuel prices is causing hardship.”
