KENNEDY AGYAPONG HAS BEEN OVER PAMPERED IN THIS COUNTRY-LAWYER MAURICE AMPAW

Private Legal Practitioner, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has chided Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong following his harsh statement against a judge.

According to him, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has been over pampered in this country which has resulted into this.

He added that, he was shocked when he heard those kinds of insult Kennedy Agyapong rained on the judge.

He noted that, although Kennedy Agyapong has apologized but that doesn’t stop him from been punished by the court.

He made this comments after Kennedy Agyapong apologised to the Chief Justice and judges in the country after throwing invective at a judge on live TV.

The loud mouth Assin Central Member of Parliament has been summoned by High Court judge Amos Wuntah Wuni for contempt, after the legislator called him “stupid” for delivering judgment when he was unaware of the case despite being the de jure owner of the land for 18 years

Lawyer Maurice Ampaw revealed that, Kennedy Agyapong had so many options to deal with this rather than insulting the Judge.

NDC YOUTH VANDALIZED PARTY OFFICE

  Irate youth of the National Democratic Congress in the Suame Constituency have vandalized the office of the National Democratic Congress at Suame. Leader angry youth, Mohammed Naail speaking to Silver fm reporter, Akwadaa Nyame, the executives  within the party has failed to meet up to their expectation. According to him, the constituency Chairman does not vote at the Suame Constituency hence he can’t become the Chairman of the party per their rules. He added that, there is an injunction on Shaba by the court that prevents him from entering the party’s office. He noted that, they felt disappointed towards the Ashanti regional Chairman on the NDC for giving a clearance letter to Shaba to become the Chairman of the constituency without informing anybody. He disclosed that, they vandalized the office to express their dissatisfaction towards the leaders of the party. GHANA RISK OF FOOD DROUGHT IF DESERTIFICATION PERSISTS-WETLAND MANAGER WARNS

Dickson Agyemang, Operations manager for Wetland under the Forestry Commission has revealed that consistent desertification of lands and building in water ways may lead the country into food crisis in the coming years. Ghana is losing more than 20 percent forest reserve every year due to desertification such as mining activities, felling down of trees and the likes, he revealed when speaking on Omanbapa show with Nana Ampratwum. He added that Ghana is in a risk of food crisis and extreme poverty if we continue the activities that destroy farmlands and forest reserves. Mr. Agyemang therefore encouraged Ghanaians to report people who build in water areas for legal action to be taken against them.
